Deb and Andy celebrated America’s 250th birthday by discovering landmark cities and remote small town gems throughout the Great Lakes region on Victory Cruise Lines. With fewer than 200 passengers on board, they enjoyed the superb cuisine, attentive service, all inclusive tours, and thoughtful amenities that make Victory Cruise Lines such a standout. It’s everything they love about small ship cruising! The experience was so exceptional that they’re already booked on another of Victory’s fall foliage itineraries and this time, they’ll be Traveling Together with friends.

Members and friends of the Treasure Coast Community Singers joined group leader Dr. Doug Jewett to sail the picturesque Rhine River and explore a region celebrated for its history and charm. The group traveled through the Middle Rhine, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, which is lined with castles, cathedrals and vineyard-laden hills. They also took in Alsace, where French and German traditions intertwine, creating a cultural tapestry renowned for its cuisine and architecture, and Kinder Dijk, where the Netherlands’s iconic windmills stand as symbols of Dutch ingenuity.

Seasoned travelers Leslie and Rich noted this as the best-ever cruise of their many cruising experiences. This storybook itinerary took them along the tranquil waterways of the Netherlands and Belgium to visit centuries-old cities and charming hamlets. They had the opportunity to meet local people to experience a taste of everyday life in the heart of Europe. A highlight was exploring the famed Keukenhof, one of Europe’s largest and most beautiful gardens, as it was bursting with millions of colorful tulips.

Deb’s lifelong friends shared an unforgettable journey along the Douro River on board a luxurious Scenic Space-Ship, taking in the breathtaking landscape of verdant vineyards, incredible architecture, and prehistoric history of the region. They visited the golden city of Salamanca and sailed along the Pinhão River past traditional villages that haven’t changed in generations. To conclude their trip, they traveled to Madrid to spend four days soaking up the royal heritage, art, and delicious cuisine of Spain’s largest city.

Whether on ship or on shore, Deb and Ann made the most of this charming southeast cruise along the Intracoastal Waterway. They enjoyed a tapestry of picturesque bays, rivers, and canals from Amelia Island, where the river winds through the heart of Fernandina Beach and the island’s Old South heritage, to the relaxed elegance of Hilton Head Island, the storied “Millionaire’s Village” of Jekyll Island, and then were delighted with an extended stay amid the cobblestone charm of Charleston’s historic district.

Deb was invited on the Admiral’s Circle Sensations of Provence river cruise, a special journey hosted by Mayflower Cruises & Tours for top tier travel advisors from across the United States. She shared this unforgettable experience with her lifelong friend Cindy, sailing from Nice through Monte Carlo, Arles, Baume, Avignon, and beyond. Together, they reveled in unparalleled cuisine, celebrated the art of Provençal winemaking, and explored remarkable Middle Age heritage sites that brought the region’s history vividly to life.
