Meet Debbie Banta—a lifelong explorer with a passion for bringing people together through unforgettable travel experiences. Her journey began as a college student studying abroad in Strasbourg and continued through years in the cruise industry, where she fell in love with the joy of shared adventures. Whether planning group trips for the Martin County School District or curating excursions through the Elliott Museum, Debbie has always believed that travel is better when experienced together.

Jim brings five decades of international hospitality leadership to Travel Together. His career began in the Virgin Islands at iconic properties including Bluebeard’s Castle and Little Dix Bay, with early roots in Charleston, South Carolina.

As President of Mantis Hospitality in South Africa, he led boutique hotels, game reserves, and luxury resorts across three continents. Later, as President & CEO of The World Residences at Sea, he traveled to all seven continents and more than 100 countries.

From Santorini to South Africa, the Caribbean to Scandinavia, Jim’s firsthand global expertise ensures every journey is thoughtfully designed and exceptionally delivered.
